Art School Projects
These projects will be added as I go through art school! I’m excited to try new things and experiment in these classes in the future. Because many of the mediums for class will be mediums I am new to, expect these projects to be rougher.
ROMAN SCULPTURE STUDIES
ROMAN SCULPTURE STUDIES
This is a project for my ancient art history class. I decided to focus on idealism vs verism in roman portrait sculptures.

2D Design + Drawing

2D design final

3D Design
Cardboard Wearable Forms Project
This assignment was our first in 3D Design. We had to use cardboard and hot glue to make a wearable form that altered our body in some way. I decided to make a giant pair of ears that attached to my arms like wings. As you can see, my prototype was nothing like the finished project, and I think it’s better off for it. This project was incredibly fun for me despite the constant smell of cardboard and pieces of cardboard sticking to me.

Woodworking Spatial Object Project
This assignment was to take an object, and make it a space. We were utilizing the slotting method instead of glue (though I was permitted to use glue) and used the woodshop for this. Using the machines was a bit scary at first, and I definitely did not enjoy using the jigsaws (it felt like they were going to send something flying at my face every second), I got the hang of it.
